From next week I'll be living in the Newcastle-Gateshead area for three months whilst working in an Internship with a company down at the Felling Industrial estate. Does anyone here live in Newcastle or thereabouts?

At the moment I play Warhammer 40K and Lord of the Rings SBG but I'm looking to play Dark Age historical skirmish games (SAGA, Age of Blood and Dux Bellorum) for which I have a WIP Anglo-Saxon army.

I prefer playing in non-GW gaming clubs if possible as I dislike playing in GW stores for a number of reasons - crowding, lack of gaming tables, restrictions on the rulesets and miniatures you can use, out of control and unsupervised kids (Middlesbrough GW...).
