Tournaments In Syracuse

its summer and Comix Zone in Syracuse, NY will be holding an LOTR or WOTR tournament every month throughout the summer starting May 8th with an LOTR escalation tournament. first round will be 750 second will be 1000 and third will be 1250.

for more information just ask on this thread.

for information on upcoming tournaments they will be posted on o-zonelair.com

after the may 8th tournament there will be a ten dollar entrance fee but all tournaments will have a payout of store credit for first second and third

Come hell or high water I am going to do my best to be there on the 8th!

I would need just one army for the escalation tournament correct?

yes make your 750 point army (LOME legal) then in round two same 750 point army and add 250 points and so on.

you cant add war gear for instance you have aragorn on foot in round 1 you cant give him a horse in round 2

oh and points cary over for instance if your army is only 745 points in round 1 you can add 255 points in round 2

Yep, and will probably bring some sort of hobbit/ranger/wizard army again.

Ok, figured this one out last night...
Looks like I've decided on a Fangorn army with some allies involved...I cannot make a legal army doing hobbits, I just don't have the models to pull that off or make it LoME legal either.

Bilbo i have like eleven or so hobbit archers and 9 sheriffs and maggaot and his hounds if that helps. Fangorn would be sweet we havent seen that in a tournamen here yet

Looks like Treebeard, several ents, Gwaihir and an eagle friend, grey company and Gandalf. May have to chuck Merry and Pip in there for good measure...cannot show up without a few hobbits!
