First of all greetings to everyone in this amazing forum.

I've been a silent reader for a long time and today I decided to share my newest projects with you.

My name is Michael, I'm an archeology student and I'm from Austria.

I have been playing Lotr on and off since 2002 but in the last years mostly Warhammer Fantasy and 40K.

The newest 40K edition made me shelve my armies and I lost motivation for Fantasy last fall and the rumors for the new edition did the rest.

I still own massive armies for both systems but the flame wasn't there anymore.

So I turned my head to my beloved Skirmisher Systems.

Blood Bowl, Mordheim and especially Malifaux are amazing! In the winter I started SAGA (specifically SAGA Westeros) and then I started playing Lotr again and it was the most fun I had playing Tabletop in a long time.

Now I have many projects in planning. Especially a thematic Angmar Army around 2000Points for a massive multiplayer Battle I'm planning at my club with some smaller scenarios leading up to the finale.

I will start a thread for my Angmar Project soon and post the link here if you want.

Cheers!

@Aule: Great! Are you still in the field?

Quick question: Why does it take half a day to show my posts? I'm getting a message that they need to get approved somehow? is this normal?

Hi Michael and welcome to the forum! I hope you will enjoy our company! :-)

The first posts will go through the approval since we had a spammer problem. After a couple of posts you can post freely.

Welcome! :)

Elladan: Nice profile picture! I've seen that image before ad I have long wanted to do a conversion based on it. I never liked the Undying (Ringwraith) model, as I don't agree with the staff idea (staffs are for wizards not nazgul) and otherwise the miniature is rather flat. I thought of making a new Undying based on the Mouth of Sauron model with a converted broken helmet just like that!

Have a great time!
