I have a miniature being commissioned from a friend who has requested that I take the hair off of his figure. That is easy enough; however, I now find myself with the need to sculpt ears. Any tips from the masters, look at you UKFreddyBear, as to how to achieve a realistic affect? Thanks in advance for any and all responses. |

I recommend a Google search as well. |

A tiny ball of putty. Push it flat in roughly the right place on the side of the head and smoosh the front most bit into meet the skull. That will give you the basic form and then you just use a needle point and xacto tip to gently push in the inner details and outer a more realistic shape. |

Thanks, been doing essentially that--the symmetry was a struggle but they are at a state I can be satisfied with for a first attempt. |
