The easy way is just to give them a distinctive paintscheme. Put some freehand on his cloak, give him different colour armour or weapons, something like that.

If you want to convert, I'd make the head my port of call. Give him an Easterling helmet (Easterlings traded with Harad a lot, in TTT you can see several Haradrim in Ithillien wearing some Easterling plate), a sculpted headress or crown, or a Suladan-like Mask.

You can do this on a scale from 1-10 easily to difficult.

1-Paint the model differently, or put a rock on his base.
