I don’t usually like the style of Mantic miniatures, but they now have a human fantasy range. I think the men-at-arms could make a good alternative for Knights of Dol Amroth on foot or Men-at-Arms of Dol Amroth.

Unfortunately they'd be too big scale wise. I'm a big Mantic fan but these chaps were a slip up and were scaled larger than they should have been (they're taller than the elite Paladins) so they'd tower over any LOTR miniature. If it wasn't for this they would have made a nice alternative. The new Perry knights would probably do the trick though.

Anyone considering the KoW Basilean infantry owes it to themself to look up some reviews of the minis. They really have some major flaws even beyond a bit of scale creep. Disproportionate limbs, soft scupting, etc. Here's one review that's fairly representative.

Long story short, the plastic perry foot knights are probably a much better option.
