Great Eagles

Hi all, I am wondering if a warhammer great eagle would be a suitable substitute for a lotr eagle? How does the size match up?

Can someone tell me how long the wingspan is for the lotr eagles?

Also why would you buy Gwaihir is could get a pack of 2 plastic eagles for almost the same price?

I have seen the warhammer eagles but on the other point, I couldn't understand paying nearly the same price for one eagle when I could get two for a few pounds more.
Hence I went for the two.

I'm planning to do this at some point, using this base from Element Games to distinguish Gwaihir.

That's a base and a half. Would look great with a live troll on top of it. They could've been in a brawl that went wrong.
