No Idea! I do not even know how many figures are in the LOTR line. I have all but some of the unreleased figures. I have all of The Black Tree and most of the Heritage, Citadel and most the Grenadier LOTR lines. I have many of the unlicensed figures from as far back as the 70's. My collection is very large but not as large as some.

GW'S LotR line I've probably got around 800. Bolt Action, Dreadball and the like probably brings that to around 1000-1100

Um... yes?

I don't have an exact count, but I would assume somewhere over 3000.
Painted? Sadly not more than about 600 of them.

380 of which roughly 120 are painted (about 40 not by myself, which have to be repainted).

Hmm at a rough guess I'd say 550?

With maybe 230 painted?

But that figure is soon to rise! :P

I'm not quite sure & can't be bothered counting them but it's probably around 250. Maybe 100 are painted.

Probably around 1000 of which about 1/2 - 2/3 are painted, I think. I will have to start checking through what I've got.

love reading through this thread. Like a couple others I have everything from the GW LOTR and Hobbit line. I also have the entire MBM/S&F line. Unpainted... well over 1000 minis...sweet jane I hope its closer to 1000 than 2000. Probably have somewhere handy to 600 painted. Used to try and keep track, but its too difficult.

Define miniature...
I have everything from 1:300 scale Gulf War era micro armour, troops and aircraft through a lot of WH40K that I am disposing of, then a load of 1980's Citadel and GW metals, The LoTR stuff (thousands of them), some Hobbit, Dreadball, DeadZone, 15mm WW2, and 28mm WW2. (with more Deadzone, AvP and Dreadball Extreme to come)
And a ton of the original 1970's-1980's Star Wars stuff.
10000 - easily. But I not going to count it as I have better things to do.

Just updated my lists. 1982 models for LOTR/Hobbit SBG. I think more than half are painted, though I am regularly repainting forces as I paint new ones.
I don't have (easier to list);
0 Woses, 0 hobbit warriors or shirefolk, Tom Bombadil and Goldberry, Ents other than Tree beard, Not a single Umbar corsair or hero or alabaster pirates just passed on the whole force, 0 Dunland except a single 3 pack of the old wildmen (I plan to actually buy barbarians and vikings from various suppliers to make my own wildmen some day). My other armies are complete give or take. I don't have any of the unreleased, and for old stuff I have the old Citadel balrog with the few fellowship figures it contains in the original red box (had wings even before PJ made his film) . I expect as soon as Gundabad/dol guldor orcs are out I will be at 2000 models.
