So, out of nowhere, my father calls me and asks me what I know about the Lord of the Rings movies. He tells me that he was reading up on Tolkien and C.S. Lewis and realized he hadn't seen the films and "they were pretty popular, weren't they?" Haha. Now, he wants to borrow them and watch them all this weekend. I can't watch all three with him, but for this evening, my son and I are going over to Popz's (yes, with a Z...sigh) house for pizza and to watch the Fellowship.

This will be fun. I love watching a film I love with someone who has never seen it before. It's almost like seeing it the first time yourself, as you observe their reactions.
