It's a shame they got rid of 'beardy Bolg', although I could see how he would easily outstage Azog, which is clearly a direction the filmmakers didn't want to pursue. |

I just saw the film and to my pleasant surprise he was indeed in a short scene at Dol Guldur. |

Ouch, leaving game of thrones for that, I mean it was a nice bit, but a tad short for sacrificing a part in game of thrones. |
