in the wotr rulebook (i have see it with some others) in p.294 is picture with an example of armies of black gate.in the games rules you cant gain pippin.but inp.294 picture(it have zoom on down left)we see him so had the people that make the game be wrong and forgot to add pippin ni the list or they forgot that pippin isnt unaivable and put him in the picture.

I'm sorry about the thread necromancy, but I just thought I'd answer this.

The photos in the books are taken in such a way so that they look like movie scenes or simply exciting potential battles.
It probably wasn't an actual battle at all, in fact I'm certain of it.

So it's not really a wrong picture at all, it's just to make the book look nicer.
