So here is my made up lore for a conversion i did , i will post the pic soon. its basically a Kili Model with his sword chopped off , replaced with the finecast banner from dwarf commanders ( costly ... yes) , he is weaing a blue facemask. The banner is tilted as if it was catching the wind.

Zoin Farwatcher- Protector of the Iron Pass between the west of erebor and Iron Hills , Established after Smaug attacked Erebor
leaving some to venture into rhovanion and seek the safety of the men of esgaroth( ex dale people) others who wanted escape to seek the safety of King Dain , so he set up a trading road and made sure they would be
clear between the two places within middle earth , ever watching for Men of Rhun to invade and ransack the road to cut of the supply of the Iron Hills or Esgaroth
in place of an attack. Seen with a Mask as he was sent by King Dain to train with the Ithilien Rangers who bravely take on the marching ranks of the Eastering and the Haradrim) so the dwarfs could learn how so few could defeat so many ( to use this knowledge
to increase warfare knowledge against the evil twisted men of Rhun), he wears a black/blue mask
as a sign of respect to Men of the Ambush Rangers of Gondor ., Inspired by his Knowledge many Dwarfs who prefer the outdoor life , train under him in an elite unit known as Dains Ironhills Rangers
The Symbol of the Stone Hawk Represents this Band of Rangers , Designed to Defend the Trading Route from Esgaroth and the Iron Hills. While they are no match for the Ithilien Rangers , they are learning fast and have repelled many attacks made on this aged outpost.

The Iron Pass is a Defensively Built Cross section outpost with two small villages for refugees of the destruction of erebor and dale to live out of the desolation of smaug lands that are so arid and burnt , The Iron Pass consists of 4 small Hills that have sharp small cliffs that drop vertically
with many Trees to surround the tops , perfect for ambush on the road , with two natural dirty paths often on either side of the road splitting and leading onto each hill.
On each hill sits a tower of Dwarven and Dale inspired architecture with great Domes for the left side and Dwarven traditional geometic sqaures on the right. The towers themselves can be seen just peaking out of the deep trees that sit around these towers.
Usually the only tracks able to be seen are small dwarf foot prints and trails of Seige weapons built by the dwarves of the iron hills these mark the tracks on the path itself. ( Iron Hills Catapult )
And elite band of Dwarven Rangers guard this pass for King Dain , one of the few remaning outposts so close to Rhun , that protects the north Ironhills from assault from the South.

This was originally for a Armies on Parade i was working on but did not finish it in time , what do you think? comments away :)

Wow, some really nice lore. Quite Middle-Earth like and realistic. Do you have more stuff??? :-D

Looking forward to see some pics. And will you convert normal dwarf rangers to wearing masks for the Iron Rangers?

Only thing I'm not sure about is how a dwarf can train among men without weird looks of enemies... :P
