My run-through of the Scouring part of the Scouring of the Shire scenarios has a woody end, namely The Burning of Woody End.

It's been a fun trip through the book. I hope to get to the "bonus" scenarios anon.

An excellent report as usual and it is interesting to read how this one went. The idea of this one is a good one but it seems like the execution isn't quite there. I have to think this one has to have been inspired by Scouring of the Westfold as I've heard that is also a really good scenario. I like your ideas for houseruling this scenario as well. If you decide to play it again with those rules, I'd be interested to see how it goes.

I look forward to seeing how those Appendix scenarios go as they take a fair amount of hobby work but look like they'd be pretty fun and well worth it.
