So - our latest club battle sees the Elven twins and the Rangers of Arnor try to hold a hilltop ruined battlement of Rhudaur (Arnor), whilst a horde from Angmar attempt to purge the area of the dreaded Dunedain. Who will win? There are lots of images - Click on this link and see if they can hold of the evil tide! http://eastgrinsteadwargamers.blogspot. ... sh-in.html |

Very good battle, the paint job on your models looks esecially good in a seige, pity you had to lets the Wargs all die. Any you should definately give magic a go. I love themed battles too, and you did not dissapoint. |

Thanks for the comments! I do need to learn magic... There is a map on our website which has dates and times too - any game considered but mainly 40k and LotR/WotR. |

I think your report is missing. Says the page in the blog doesn't exist. Sounds interesting though. Would love to read it. |

Just wondering Leonardis, does your club mind the use of non-gw mini's. I use a few Reaper mini's as proxies because gw is very expensive :/ |

I use a few Reaper mini's as proxies because gw is very expensive :/ Using proxies is not a problem as long as they kind of represent the figures (space marines as riders of Rohan might be a bit too far) but we don't really have any rules about it do as long as its agreed before had then that is fine. Also I have loads of figures so if you need to use any for a battle at club then as long as I know In advance I can usually bring some along. If you are thinking of coming along please let us know in advance so we can ensure that there is a Lotr or wotr battle arranged as we sometimes play blood bowl, aliens and trafalgar etc. So in short, just let us know before you come! Thanks |

Excellent - the list is growing! Pm me before you attend as I can't make it for a month! There is another LoTR player from Haywards Heath who might be able to lift share or meet up to come along!? Once I am back will be getting some BIG WoTR games in as well as plenty of SBG skirmishes in! What armies/figures do you have? |

I have a decent size gondor and moria force for both WotR and SBG and have just started on my wood elves for SBG. Got some mordor floating around and have lots of heroes. My neighbour and I occasionally have SBG mega battles that are 5k+ plus and last for several days... |

Fantastic - there are 3-4 of us that play WotR and SBG and have lots of figures from all the armies... Should make for some exciting battles!!! Let me know when you think you can make it (although I am not at club until October). We me fortnightly on a Sunday afternoon. Just PM me for further details or to arrange a date - I can then bring some scenery |
