Loads of recent photos from the Lord of the Rings Cup, an SBG tournament. One of the old-timers (Matt) was involved, note the Black Numenorian conversions - very cool! http://www.wargamerau.com/forum/index.p ... pic=125545 |

Fun read and nice pictures. Love the monty python reference. The nazgul and the eagle was epic! I also really like the moria type terrain. I like that ent that was converted to hold that tree trunk. What are those black numenoreans, different company? |

That is indeed very nice , excellent photos, and not one modle was paintd less than brilliant, fun terminology, and I did read it (hence Sticky Fingersss, I know that the Black Numenoreans are conberted from GW Warhammer Fantasy Dark Elves). There was some very fun-looking models, what i want to know, are what is the dragon and a bit about those ents. |

As Gothmog says, those awesome Black Numenorian conversions were made up from Warhammer Fantasy Dark Elf Corsairs (the plastic boxset). Their capes are scaled which is really cool, could easily pass for those Easterling power houses (Dragon Knights), scaled armour and scaled cape |

So, are the Dark elves roughly the same size as the Black Numenoreans? If so, I'm gettin some. |

Draugluin - Fantasy models are usually a little larger however these guys are thinner than most and are leaning over with knees bent so they fit right in. They would need some minor conversion work. Also there is the option to give some of them a sword in either hand i believe, perfect pieces for a Dragon Knight warrior Gothmog - Looking forward to seeing how you do that! Please post your progress in the WIP thread |

I'm going to attempt to recreate those Black Numenoreans this week. Managed to get hold of a boxset and a couple of sprues of the shields.. they are very well detailed, plenty of potential! Will stick up some photos in my WIP thread tomorrow |
