My foggy recollection (we had a significant set of aftershocks here between us playing that and me writing this) doesn't do the game justice but I think the way Ray played it out shows the importance of using formations (of formations) well in this game. I think that sometimes get neglected with all the focus on stats and combos, that tends to get overemphasised on the net. He had a plan for his line, he took the fight right to me, and it paid off for him.

Nice short game there. Its a friendly and I can see you fast playing to keep the game interesting. I try to avoid my Veterans entering combat till all the Warriors of Minas Tirith have failed. Plus with all the ranged I try to drag my opponent to me aswell. Maybe having the Veterans switch to the Right side for the WOMT would of got you some side attacks with a Strong and Cheap center supported by Knights and Axemen.

I play vs Easterlings/Morgul Knights often and enjoy shooting them up.
