2014 World Campaign!

Hey all, Rob from LOTRSBGBATTLES on youtube. We started up a 10 player world campaign last month in denver. Right now we are completing turn 3's battles this sunday, but below are links to the 1st few turns thus far. We are getting together once a month at a local game shop and recording our turns and battle reports to post on the channel for folks. Enjoy and let me know what you guys think!

Great to see you making a new campaign again. Enjoyed the last one and starting to get the hang of the campaign rules now. Was a little bit tricky first ;D. Really enjoying the videos as well.

If you can do it in under 1 minute, would you be able to explain why the world map looks a little off in your next video? Or maybe it's just me

If you're referring to territories I believe in a prior video Rob said that to balance the map they needed to adjust it slightly

Yeah I have a few maps on my channel. Once of which was made for an 8 player campaign we tried about a year ago now. The new map has been updated to allow for 10 players so there was a bit of balance that needed to be done. I am still not sure how successful this new one will be. We just don't know until we try it.

Could I just suggest that you limit the troops that certain areas can summon. For example rivendel can't summon galadhirm and army of the dead and stuff like that.

Yeah we talked about if we have more than 10 players we could start breaking down, or drilling down into the forces even further, like moria globlins, misty mountains goblins, or like you sugguest rivendell, mirkwood, and lorien elves. Right now, we allow the elf player to pull from any of the elf factions, but they still have to be legal wardbands atleast, I.E. Thranduil cant lead forces from Rivendell... :legolas:
