Excellent fight! Dragons, Arnor, and a ballista? This has everything! Btw how do you think the ballista faired, especially against the dragon.

I tried looking at this, but my laptop failed to load up the pictures properly, but the first few shots certainly made it look like it was interesting

Just to correct you Leo, it was a 600pt Hunter Orc army and the dragon was packing tough hide and fly. The dragon, as good as it was, never really got going and I made the fatal mistake of splitting my army and it got overwhelmed quickly.

I know that feeling man! I have used my dragon so many times and I have never been satisfied, even with the new rules! Heroic strike just makes it harder to beat a pair of cheap captains or something, and wizards like Gandalf are such great counters to the dragon I have never gotten a chance to really use it. Last match I played the fellowship with the dragon and some goblins, and it was a terrible terrible match :/

He costs too much for not enough presence. Sure he could theoretically beat all sorts of heroes 1v1 but the Dragon is easily shut down, even with barge. Mind you I have never had it die, but it has also never gotten its points back, not even close.

I don't know, i was utterly spanked when trying to use an all mounted Rohan army against one at a tournament!
