I like how you do your battle reps but the battles themselves look.... kinda boring. Just going head to head in formation with some pillars around that offer no strategic value is hardly an interesting battle ;).

You might want to spice it up by playing a scenario and placing more scenery on the board.

Thanks for your input!
I just started playing again and am doing some skirmishes and keeping it a bit simple so i can progressively learn my new units and rules. Im a big fan of learning new formations and strategies, eventually I will throw my scenery in and make a game of it!
I have a 375 pt. game im working on next which will include banners so Im just testing them out and seeing the results!

Nice battle report! Did you play with the Broken rules? Or warbands? I think mire terrain would make your fights more interesting. In any case well done!!!

Good eye, No i didnt use broken rules, mainly bc i wanted to test out the banners and see it effects the battlefield. Ill be doing a scenario soon, either defend the hobbit, or king of the hill. I only know SBG rules.

Warbands is the latest rule set for LOTR. It was implemented last January.
Banners are great, as I hope you found out. Mixing up the senarios is a great way to keep the game fresh and new.

Enjoyed watching the video style, with the almost sports ground angle of seeing the movements progress and battle unfold. Agree with some of the comments here about scenarios and more terrain but a video well done! Thanks for sharing!
