Seems we might get trolls in the last Hobbit movie. And they look badass especially the one in the background :) and the official trailer arrives in 3 days.

I like the design a lot, (providing none of that armour is embedded in its flesh...)

It's eaten Thorin's leg and broke his arm! Look at him bravely hopping away from the monster.

In all seriousness, I do like the troll design, and is that one of the 'tanks' in the bakground, with a howdah? Should make a nice couple of kits.

It looks a bit like the FotR stone troll, its head at least.

I like the troll too, it's clearly about to shake hands and say hello to Thorin. Also notice that Thorin has Orcrist, that's interesting!

Maybe Thorin was wearing the One Ring on this toe and his foot got cut off? That would explain a lot.

His legs are both there! His right knee's bent and his left leg is largely covered up behind it. The bit that looks like his leg's been chopped off is just his cloak flapping.

Cool poster though, I like how they're setting up the three dwarves as a big deal for the final film.

That's funny. I can see what you're talking about.
I'm always excited for more trolls

The new trolls are equipped with a sort-of-warmachine on their back in the new trailer.
Let's see if they get released by GW too.

Saw someone refer the catapult trolls as giants. If it's true that would be nice :) Now I just hope for some decent mini's too lay my already weary brushes on :)

Soon, my friend. Soon.

So soon, in fact, that I've just realised I have one payday left before BOFA hits. One single chance to get up to speed on my other forces before I get distracted by the new toys for a year.

This fellow looks to me like some sort of Ogre or Half Troll, hope we get a release. He's quite ugly!

Here he is leading the Troll catapults into battle.

Omg dude lmfao.

Yeah, I love the design too. Its probably be a finecast troll if they came out with one, and Id trade a lot to get it. Or eventually have to buy it.
