The only price increase GW have implemented this year was a 10p increase in paint.

What currency is THAT in!?!??! I couldn't imagine paying $60 for a single model unless it was Monster size (even then it's over priced). And $70 for three command? :o

Make sure (bottom right corner) you're not looking at the prices for another country - you wouldn't be the first to be shocked by what actually simply is a different currency.

I think UK likes to punish Australia because that continent took the whole accent and made it even more cool.

Hell yeah, it's as expensive as buggery over here in Australia.

Goblin Town is now $205!!!!! Whats up with that? It was actually $204 earlier this year so it shows how GW is sneakily increasing prices.

I'm going to start collecting Chaos Space marines too next year and all I'll say is that ebay is my friend. If you live in Australia, make an ebay account!!!!!

Hang on , so GW prices in Australia do not reflect ACTUAL price of say prices in UK currency for currency? sec let me check... £20.00 box of warriors of erebor from UK...
Australia it is....HOLY [word deleted] you are being ripped off by a good £10 if your in Australia... wow that sucks. When i emigrate to Australia , i shall make sure i have finished the tabletop hobby :)

Just did a check on Currency XE , $55.00 australian dollars for warriors of erebor , that is currently £32.50. Your paying an extra £12.50 for same product. Now i see why aussies are marginalized. You SHOULD be paying $33.00 AUD. I wonder why that is? Something to do with EU perhaps? or some sort of trade barriers?

I wouldn't be surprised to see a price increase in time for the new films corresponding miniature releases however.

As I understand, the cost of living is higher in Australia and that could be a reason. The prices maybe comparable to UK prices if that is the case.
