I was browsing GW's site tonight, when I noticed that many miniatures previously only available in sets and some that where even out of producion have made their return. Bilbo Bagins, Glorfindel Lord of the West, Hama and more have all become available on GW's site.

Here are a few links for you...

Really a wonderful move by GW, I'm very pleased with this. Especially with the return of Bilbo! :)

I also noticed that it is now possible to buy Rohan Merry and Gondor Pippin seperately as well and that Elendil and Armoured Celeborn are back!!!

Yes, they are. All of the White Council models ( excluding Saruman), are also available seperately. Lurtz and Grisnakh as well. Gamling can be purchased in a foot and mounted blister pack both with the royal standard, while he can also be purchased with out the standard by himself. Elendil has made a return, as has Celeborn in armor. All very good news. :)

Great find Josh. Finally, GW are doing something right and armoured Celeborn makes a cheap but wanted present for my brother.

@ PAMPLEMOUSE

Erestor is indeed available, here's the link for you.

@ Erunion

Thank you for the coin! Though, the flip appears to have been a little short.

Wow, that's cool. Wish they'd told us they were going to do this, or anything really. I could go for Hama, the WC Galadriel, Thranduil, maybe Merry in Rohan armour (although I might as well buy the Merry / Pippin set), and Bilbo of course :-D

Great. But I already have two mounted Gamlings and two on foot without banner (they came in mass orders off ebay). All I really wanted was one mounted, one on foot with banner, and maybe one without  Now I guess I'll have to get another mounted Gamling. . . plus the new set costs $5 more

On the Canadian site, at least, he is found in the Elven realms not Gondor / Arnor for some odd reason. I'm sure they'll fix that soon.

Now if only they'd bring back the mounted Rohan Royal Guard with Banner, the metal Uruk-Hai scouts, metal etc. . .

Good luck with bringing back metal. I too prefer metal, mostly because I am a collector, where as gamers and modifiers prefer plastic. We're outnumbered.

I found that out about GW as well visiting their site. I didn't know that today was the first day they brought out that offer. It's great. They use to allow people to order specific models before they went all cheap (behavior wise) and force people to buy bundles of models people didn't want. So it's great they're some what going back to their roots.

I'm hesitant about Hama though. It's great we can buy him as a single model now but I rather have him both foot and mounted. And seeing that WOTR demands that there must be a mounted version of him, I think I'll wait for that blister. I hope that WC Saruman model becomes a single soon.

well this is getting me one step closer to making the Kings guard in WOTR. 8)

Kind of wondering if this is the reinforcements that they were talking about in WD?

Wonderful news, also good for evil (pun not intended) as Gollum, Grishnakh and Lurtz have all been re-packaged as singles on the Oz online store. Now I can have a rock solid fighting character for my Isengard and not have to buy Grishnakh with him.

This might signal a revival of my elves now that Erestor, Glorfindel and Thranduil are now separate. Top job by GW on this. Now all I want to see is Boromir banner foot and Ugluk repackaged so he is single.

I've always thought that they should sell the miniatures individually, or at a slight discount if you buy the boxed set. It seems like that would be a way to maximize your sales. People can buy the individuals at a premium, but will be motivated to spend more to get the discount.

No offense to GW or any of it's affiliates but they seem to have great difficulty in discounting anything!!! My only gripe with GW is that they are ridiculously overpriced. The glues really [word deleted] me off, are only half full whereas if you buy any other brand of glue it's always full to the brim. That and the plastic Balrog is still nearly a hundred bucks!!! For about 2 bucks worth of plastic!!!
