Hey all, GW published another Battlehosts article on their website.

http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/conte ... d=8700009a

I've also edited the first page to include links to all articles pretaining to this release.

I'm glad to see that they have started to talk about some of the battlehosts, allowing you to get an idea of the sorts of things that you can include in them before buying the book. Shame that it doesn;t show any of the Evil Battlehosts, but I play Dwarves predominantly and my gf plays Elves, so it's okay for us ;)

TheBlackCaptain: Sorry, I didn't see your last post, but to reply - > I know that WH Dwarves are based on LotR, but I more meant ruleswise, the LotR Dwarves are becoming more similar to WH ones ;)

It's about time too.

(Always thought it odd that in SBG, Hobbits got Resitant to Magic, but NO Dwarves did....)

I do like that latest article. As posted, for those of us that haven't had a chance to see the book yet it's good to get an idea of what a BH may bring. The Rivendell one gets me curious of what, if anything, I can leverage for my Mirkwood Elves while I'm really excited about the Rohan description.

Enjoy!

Found them this morning, they were quite interesting. It's nice to see a lot of LotR articles recently.

I have two packs of the terrain hopefully shipping to me as I type. I'm really excited about them. I wish hirst arts could develop a set of blocks with similar textures...I love the rough-hewn stone + roman arches, and it would be really great to weave in some home-made stuff with the same look and feel.

EDIT: speak of the devil...the UPS guy just showed up!

I picked the terrain pieces up last week, along with a box of the Morgul Knights. Nice models all.

Nice article. Those sound like some interesting Battlehosts...not that a mostly Morgul Knight force needs any additional bonuses.
