My only hope is that pressure from share holders forces change!

Well, actually I only really care about the Tolkien products from G.W. (as I think 40k and Warhammer Fantasy just look childish) and after the now neglected franchise peters out in a couple of years, I frankly will not give a damn about them.

As I am new to the hobby I don't feel I have the right to share in many of the grievances which some of you have toward GW. Personally I love the models in the LOTR and Hobbit range and I am glad a company has paid Newlines expensive licensing fees to manufacture these miniatures many of which I adore for us to enjoy. Yes there are many alternative producers but historical minis have no licensing fees to pay. I do have an issue with pricing particularly in the Hobbit range, however I am just glad that they are being made. I have started to drift a little into the historical range because prices/quality of perry brothers are fantastic but Middle Earth will always be my first love and hopefully they will be produced for many years to come.

I also am hopeful they will continue to put resources into this line.
I love the system and the models.
There is a law of diminishing returns at play and only a finite amount of LOTR.
But if they put the effort in, I feel the line has legs beyond the "movie push".

I doubt that they will re-do any old sprues with less on them, the cost of doing so would be counter productive... and we have seen the 10 figure sprues on the last few hobbit releases, so this is not really news
