Careful language, ambigious reference... and if it's based on some artwork that isn't owned by the IP... who knows?!

If only they ripped off a model I actually wanted...

I'd say they will be in it like Gollum in Mount Doom.

Interesting new release on Wayland, don't know how Dark Art Studios get away with it!

That sort of thing annoys me as either they are trying to rip off someone else's idea or they are just unimaginative!

So...just like warhammer then? :p

Seriously though, at this point Traditional Fantasy Gaming is so inbred as to be a recursive loop. Warhammer looted from the early 1980s wave of fantasy gaming (because GW was the UK distributor for a lot of games); the Old World is someone's D+D setting. The D+D element introduced a Canonical Fact into fantasy (Goblins and Orcs are separate thing), which GW and New Line cinema introduced right back into Middle-earth and thus confirmed by GW. Someone ripping off New Line's over the top Goblin King design? On their heads be it. It's probably the least inspiring part of the cinema universe thus far. I can't imagine why anyone would bother.

I thought i would post a picture of the new Gandalf Staff against an old one, its about 5mm to short.

So i decided to lengthen it by cutting just at the hand, taking a piece of resin and carving it down to size and texture. then a small amount of liquid green stuff to cover the join.

The scabbard is just the right length when the figure look at carefully.

It is a great sculpt IMO but just needed the Staff adjusting.

Yep, you fixed it. Now I may have to get one and do the same. Well done.
