The mounted KoDA and the lady are superb!
I wish they had made even a fleeting appearance in RotK ....

I can't stand the sculpts of the foot knights, even with such a lovely paint job. That being said, you did do a great job painting them. The white is stunning, and I like the mud you added too. The bases also are excellent, they fit the models really well.
Haha, Imra hill is looking good. Is it just me, or does he look different? :)

Thanks PoW, I know the foot knights are not to everyone's taste, but I quite like that about them... I do find the helmet wings a bit ridiculous though.

I've tried to make the best of them though and tweak the two basic poses in an attempt to reduce the clone look they have.

I reckon they look pretty cool ranked up though and should be even better when I get some more finished

Sorry, it's been a while since the last update but I've managed to find some time to finish something (finally!)

As always I've tried something new (for me) and this time it was to make and paint a custom banner and see if I could make one which isn't on a gale batter battlefield ;)
Here's what I came up with, what do you think?

No, the swan topper was part of the original flag.
I liked it so I chopped it off the old metal flag and drilled a hole in it to slot it on the top of my new flag pole :)

You definitely need to do an army shot once everything is completed, these look superb (and the banner looks very natural).

Thanks Crucium Giger :)

I think I'm going to try and enter Armies on Parade this year, so you may be seeing quite a few army pics of them soon :)

I can imagine you sweeping the floor in an Armies on Parade comp with this bunch. Not to mention your other work!

Whole army shot is a must once complete! :yay:

That is a lovely warband!
May I ask what material you used to create the banner?

Thanks guys :)

Baardeend, the banner is made from paper which I painted with base colours, then stuck on and shaded / highlighted

Here's a WIP pic to show you what I meant
