Yes, I'm using irregular movement trays from Sally 4th.
I think they're great and suit LOTR mini perfectly.
Also, Chris Abbey, the guy from Sally 4th is ace and will help with any crazy idea you may have.

Mention you saw my bases so he knows it was worth it :)

Man I love the haradrim. Is there a way you can type me up a little thing explaining out to do the basing? The effect is awesome.

If people are interested, I guess I could have a go at putting a little tutorial together on my sand basing? I have to remind myself how to do it soon anyway

How did you achieve the lovely bronze on the golden king?

Great work buddy

Hey Brushstroke. I would like to congratulate your beautiful Haradrim painting. Are you a gamer or a collector? Hence the unusual bases. Can't wait to see more of your work. :yay:

VG, it's not intentional. It's just WIP gold.
I'll check the colours so far and let you know though :)

Thanks John :)

The bases are actually magnetic movement trays. So I can take the figures out for gaming but they look nice grouped up for display in the trays too.

Truth be told I'm still really new to this painting and gaming lark. So right now I would say I'm a collector who is hoping to have an army worth gaming with soon :)

Looking good so far, I think my favorite part is the hands. Kind of weird, I know, but I feel like the hands often get overlooked. Plus they skin tone is fantastic.
I look forward to seeing the end result 8)

Thanks PoW, funny I'm not too happy with the hands at the moment as it goes. The sculpt is a bit strange on the one resting on the sword. Needs a little more work.

Looking good. Do you live in Leeds? (spotted you from Leeds on your facebook profile). If so maybe we can get a game in sometime as I live in Leeds as well.

Hi Redeaston, I do live in Leeds :)

I'm new to war gaming and as such haven't actually play a game yet... or learnt the rules even. Once I get a decent army painted and I've learnt how to use them I'll be up for a game :)
