Hey all,

I've got this big 3 day session coming up with my mate and the highlight is a 4k game on a 12ft by 7.5ft board (is this too big, not big enough, just right? maybe I should ask Goldilocks).

Anyway I've made an army list but I thought I'd share and get some feedback from you guys (you know keep the community alive haha) before I finalise it.

For this list I'm using the house rules made by Xelee as they are pretty good and short enough to implement with ease. (http://www.one-ring.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=88&t=19705)
The main things they change with my list is WoMT are now 5 points more per company, command options are cheaper (applied to Legend Forms also), spirits have D7 and Glorfindel is harder to kill.

Any feedback would be much appreciated. I think formation sizes might want to be altered too. My opponent is playing Isengard.

Well I played the game and I did really well. The court of the dead suffered really badly to magic though. Saruman was able to kill the whole formation just with his easterlings.

But one of the big turning points was when i was able to kill 2/3rds of a 6 company warg rider formation with my trebuchets. It completely destabilised the entire flank.

You should have written a battle report. Sad no one is interested in this forum!

I still check up on this forum whenever there's a new post. Though I will admit that I barely post on here, mostly because I haven't had a game in a long while so my eagerness for WOTR has faded. That doesn't mean I wouldn't jump at the opportunity to play a game though.

Well I've got pics but batteries ran out on the cameras so I don't have a complete record of all the turns. Heres a link to all the pics I have currently uploaded, some are abit blurry. I honestly doubt I'd get round to making a report, but If enough people are interested I could be persuaded to right a summary up for people.

We played our own made up scenario which I guess is abit like seize the prize I think. But Gollum was different from the hobbits and got to run away from his captures (which he did quite well killing some knights of dol amroth in the process)

That battle looks so fun, such a shame you didn't have the time to do a report. Really nice scenery and well painted models too. Impressive.
