From one extreme to another, dark to colour, and who would have thought the colour would be Orcs. Nice slant you have taken with them and the siege bow front is splendid.
Nice work mate and best of luck with those dwarves.

I love those conversion parts from eBob, they really make the orcs stand out.

Also, that siege bow looks great, it would match well with your 'Eye' banner!

Really lovely work, I particularly like the muted colours on the orc, I reckon you'll be getting my vote this month.

Nice transition from the Olive Drab basecoat. I must admit I was expecting a different colour scheme but that doesn't detract from the finished job.
In a nutshell a great job done and the base sets this off perfectly. Though wargs aren't my favourite figure I would want one of these on my shelf.

Ahem, I like how you've painted the Wargie, he does look furry awesome. The fur is excellent and I like how you haven't drawn attention to his bald parts.

I like the mini - it captures the ferocity and semi-feral nature of both protagonists.
And here is a thought: I believe the best way to say 'warg' is as Saruman said it in The Two Towers, so the phonetic spelling would be Waahrrg. It has an onomatopaeic quality that sounds like a savage snarl.
Now, paint some more Waahrrgs worthy of Mordor

Great insight Dorthonion,

Tolkien being a master of demotic Anglo Saxon probably had this in mind. Often he place word in such a manner to end a sentence in a more powerful sounding manner.

Paul, I've checked the updated photo and the warg looks great. You have given it and the rider an earthy feel that I like. I believe some are guilty of painting them 'too clean' if you see what I mean.
Looking at your general painting standard. I think you need to look at more transitions between light and dark.
I would like to see areas like the folds in the riders leg as darker in the recesses and lighter on the raised areas. Perhaps the colour choice will help.
I've recently read an article that deals with colours and how the right on can make recesses seem deeper. For example, using some blues and purples, mixed into the base coat will help this look as sometimes just using brown tones does not.
