Is it possible to view the latest newsletter somewhere?
And what if I order FC miniatures and they are not a good quality, do I have to contact you or GW?

Hi Imrail,

The March newsletter has just recently vanished into the ether, we are revamping the newsletter completely and the April edition will be out very soon. Don't worry though, the only codes in the March edition was a re-iteration of the free U.K Shipping over £40 that is still going on.

Regarding finecast, we do have a quick look at all blister packs as they come through to try and weed out any obvious mistakes. But you can do either really, it will probably be quicker to take any defective models to a local GW where they should be able to do a straight swap (Afterall, it was their fault!) or if you prefer you can get in touch with ourselves, we then have to pass it on to GW and handle the situation ourself but it will mean postage of the item back to us, so probably quicker to go to a nearby GW - unless you don't live near one!

If it helps, the last time I saw a defective finecast product was November, since then we've had hundreds of them pass through and no reported problems

In the cart what is the "tax" amount for?

Most sites show the compulsory VAT separately from the main order in case a business tries to claim the VAT back. Or something like that...am I close?

Thats exactly it SD, I'm not sure what business you'd have to be in to be able to claim back VAT on minis but as a VAT registered business the law requires us to display the tax amount for you there and also in your order confirmation, VAT receipts are available as well should you need a full .pdf invoice from us. It also shows you that are prices are actually pretty low, the government adds on their share of things to bump it up a little, greedy mugs!

Hey GD, very late with this one but just wanted to say a massive thanks for my starter sets last month! They arrived safe and sound and I was very impressed to receive them 2/3 days after dispatch whilst using the free shipping code.

Great service and I can see some Eagles and Trolls in my near future via your store! :-)

Guys I just had to share this, many of you know that we use Google Analytics to track many things on site (traffic sources, top countries etc) but Google really got us good with this one, 41 visitors logging in from the International Space Station Control Room!? It even moves across the map! Awesome.

We are not informed by Games Workshop when something goes direct only - we only find out about it because it becomes an issue trying to order said product. We do apologize but insist that you direct questions or complaints regarding product availability to Games Workshop PLC as we have no control over this situation and no access to any information regarding availability. We can only refund you the money for direct only products and process the rest of the order as normal.

On the website of GW it doesn't say that it is direct order only.
I hate GW for this

Hey GD, thanks for the kind words. Just as a heads up I'll def be placing an order for the Trolls and a box of Great Eagles over the weekend (Easter treat to myself based on some good gambling wins whilst away with friends this week!) so if you could add them to your next order etc. that'd be great!
