WOW such great entries this month! I personally love the warbands of Edge, John Wayne and MMS.
But great job to all of you!

Fantastic entries everyone! Well done.

Very nice painting, edge67. One question: Why are some of the Uruks normal dark flesh-type coloured and others grey?

There are actually 3 different skin tones - the regular dark flesh, grey (chardonite granite) and green (mix white/gretchin green). I have lots of uruks to paint (> 200) and I didn't want to paint them all the same skin tone - I wanted some variety similar to the variety you see with orc skin tones.

Ah, I see. Personally, I prefer the sense of order and "drilled fighting machine"-ness that identical Uruks give, but I can see where you're coming from.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to withdraw. As much as I tried, life has just got in the way of me being able to finish (I got part of the way there). I'll still paint them up and post in my WIP though. Thanks for the motivation! Good luck to everyone else, there's some great looking pieces here!

Well, here's my entry. Still WIP, unfortunately - just got to the wash stage and ran out of time. Damn cavalry take so long to paint! Still, it's nice to have a unit tabletop-ready.

There have been some fantastic entries this month. I thoroughly enjoyed watching everyone's entries.

Tomogui! You really are special! I love yours so much, especially the pelts and you add so much detail to both animals and orcs!
Great job and I hope to see lots more of you.

Both of you have very nice painting indeed, lots of detail work and depth in them.

tomogui, for unfinished models they look fantastic. Hell, for finished models they look fantastic! I will post up the voting thread tomorrow, I'm a little rushed for time at the moment.

I never finished my entry, but I thought to show you guys where I managed to get. Here are the knights and the banner bearer I painted, but Faramir remains unpainted. I took a photo of them anyway, but with an old captain I converted ages ago from mounted Boromir.

I was feeling sad when I tried to finish the warband and just couldn't concentrate on painting Faramir.

Pity you didn't finish them! Still very nice though.

They look great Pasi - I think a lot of us are having that problem.

Excellent looking warband, Pasi. Good clean paintjobs, as usual.
