Thanks guys, glad you're liking them so far...I am nearly done with both and think I'll paint a Gollum to go along with these two. :)

Brilliant work on these. Gollum's eyes are amazing! I like the work on his skin too. Only one minor comment - Gollum looks like he is eating a rock rather than a fish. Maybe a bit of flesh tone would help? Also looks like the scuplt of the fish wasn't that great?? I have this mini to paint up soon but haven't looked at it closely.

I agree, great painting, bit Gollum looks like he'll hurt his fangs on that.

Actually I turned the fish into a rock. I wanted to have him look like he was going to bash Sam and Frodo with it. :)

Ah-ha! Got it now. The filthy little thievessssss...bash 'em precious......

I see you told us when you posted the picture that the fish was now a rock. Sorry, I should have read this more closely. Great imagination!

They look good. The painting on the hobbits' cloaks look smooth, and good thinking turning Gollums fish into a rock, he really looks mean with it.
