I just set up my entire Ultramarine army on a 6x4 table to take some pics.

These are the Space Marine apoc formations I own

Battle Company (4th Company)
Masters of the Chapter
Predator Assassin Squadron
Ancients Assault Force
and I'm 70% complete on the 1st company formation.

When I saw first picture I thought "hmm.. another fast painted big army" but then I saw other pictures and I changed my mind. Your minis are very nice painted though you have them so many! IMO, it's a dream for every SM collector ;p

Great job!

like skymaN said... shockingly well done! especially for so many models... you should be very proud

They look very nice together as a unit. Great work. :)

I've told you before over on Heresy but there is no harm in saying it again!

They're really nicely painted and having watched you progress with this army I can understand the sheer amount of work, talent and time that has gone into this army.

Now that it's all finished they look absolutely fantastic, great work Gareth! Truly an army to be proud of!

Inspirational!!!

I've heard of the "Thin Blue Line" before, but yours is a very wide blue line! And really well painted too. Great work Gareth!

I did it! I broke through the thin blue line of monotonous tank painting and completed the last 2 vindicators, adding the Line breaker formation to my apocalypse army brings the total to 9540pts! Less then 500pts to go :D :D :D

Here are a couple of quick snaps.

Yesterday I finished the new GW venerable dreadnought. It's a fantastic kit, really spoilt for choice on how you build it. I stuck pretty close to the box art for this one. I will be adding more in the future and will do some different ones then.

Brings the army total up to 9,715pts.

It is an awe inspiring army. Seeing close to 10,000 points of Ultra's with each model painted up to the same standard that I paint my heroes is truly amazing to see. I admire your patience.

I take my hat off to you sir, and wish you good luck with finishing this epic army.
