This is awesome! Its a great way to celebrate the one rings birthday!

I have a preference to Gondor but if you don't have any then a random model will be a nice surprise :D

Ok everyone - thanks so much for all the kind words, support, money (for posting costs) and enthusiasm behind this - I am glad it has inspired some people to stick with the hobby!

I will not discriminate anyone by where they live, I will pick up some envelops and bubble wrap etc and go down the list the next few days creating packages for y'all. Some of you have pm'd me already but if not, fear not I will PM YOU and ask for your address/what you want etc. Really happy to see this coming together :)

An undoubtedly kind gesture from a great community member. If you're still willing, I'll happily partake in receiving a model!

I'm not overly fussed as I can always make it a statue or something ;)

But my main armies are Dwarves, Grey Company, Rhun, a few Elves and so on.

I can only say you make this forum even better with this most kind gesture.
It's gestures like this that keeps this community of wargamers the best.

My main armies are Dale, gondor and harad/umbar. But I generally would be pleased by anything to remind me of this forum and this uttermost great gesture.

This is an amazing thing you're doing marsbar. I don't normally post, but I'd love any extra model you'd want to throw my way. I'm partial to rohan or the eastern kingdoms though. But anythings fine. And I would most certainly cover the shipping costs (I'm from Canada)

Hey marsbar, this is awesome. If you can do it I would love a warg, if not, surprise me! (I'm in Canada btw...)

I am astounded by your generosity. I would greatly appreciate a warg, but if it isn't feasible I would appreciate an easterling with a sword. Unfortunately I'm in Canada, so please let me know how much shipping is so I can reimburse you for your trouble

Okay guys, i have 25 messages in my inbox (the maximum) so i am gonna sort those guys out then go down this thread one by one pm'ing everyone who has posted before this comment and sort them out. Still post below if you wanna get involved and once I've sorted the people above out i will get to you (if i have any 'spare' mini's left by then)

In regard to wargs, i have loads and i am more than happy to give some away but i am running an event on march 2nd where 60 wargs need to be present for the sake of a custom scenario - so you warg guys can either wait till after then or pick summin else/ get a random mini?

Thank you do much to everyone who has contributed to postage, really will help make this project affect more people without killin moi.

I don't think it would be unreasonable of you to ask the recipient to pay postage if you are sending them what they ask for. Or at the very least go halves with you. It's one thing to give away free minis. Its another to lose quite a lot of money on postage and packing when hundreds of people try and take advantage of your generosity.

Christmas comes a little late this year. ;) Nice gesture. I wouldn't be able to part from my mini's like that. Good luck with postage and such, sounds like it's gonna be quite a job! :D

I Agree, I'm more than happy to cover the postage and I'm sure everyone even from the UK too will be happy to help out such an act of generosity

Couldn't agree more, told him not to let people take advantage of this and once he lets me know what he is interested (PM ME MARSBAR) I will send him something back, whether that be a model or money.

That sure has to be one of the most generous things I
have ever seen on this whole forum. Im sure willing to pay
more than just one euro to account for shippings and other
buisnesses concerning the packaging.
If you have the means could I have something dwarvish?

Extremely generous, SM! All that postage will add up, so I hope people will ante up for it.

I don't want anything sending, but just wanted to say what a super-awesome thing this is to do SM. Nice going! Hope everyone sends you their thanks for what they receive ;)

This is an extremely kind gesture, and I would gladly cover postage costs for whatever you can offer, but I would prefer Rohan or Isengard.

SM what a great guy! This is one of the nicest and most generous things I have seen in a long time and a great way for people to get involved on TheOneRing. What an absolute Legend!

There is some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for 8)
