Does anybody of you know the dead Mumak by GW? They had an article about it, but I can't find it anymore.

So I wanted to ask you if someone knows the article and could provide me a link :)

How much is 5 quid? I was not temped over much by the price my self. I also don't know any thing about the model. I thought it was a conversion but there was another one just like it recently sold.

It wasn't that model that you had in the link, it was a limited edition gamesworkshops thing. They gave them out to the store for scenery on battles. Way OOP by now, but there are sometimes a few around on ebay. Less common now. It was just 5 pounds, not sure what that is in US dollars.

I did not know that 5 quid was 5 pounds. That would be a little more than $10 depending on the exchange rate.

Quid is to pounds, as bucks is to dollars, from what I understand. This comes of watching too much British Comedy....

Found these pics on the French Fansite - Le Palantir. I'll also get the WD pics to you.

Ok this was the Slain Mumak by Mark Bedford. All photos in this post copyright Games Workshop.

But my favorite has to be Chris Baker's Dying Mumak:

The article is well written with lots of Wip pics, but for legal reasons I obviously cannot post the entire thing here.

Those GW dead/dying Mumaks look brilliant, thanks for the pictures. The second one is actually really tempting me to try something similar, but I don't have £50 or so to spare on top of other things just yet so it'll gave to wait.

I found this resin one a few weeks ago, apparently there were a few made for US GW stores.
I was pretty tempted to bid on it!

That dying Mumak is awesome!

Do you know where I can go to view the whole article?

I have a copy of the US version, which is more like a showcase rather than an article. It's probably a shortened version of the UK issue. To attempt at doing the dying Mumak conversion would be even better now, as there plastic Army of the Dead sculpts (great sculpts), to make the conversion easier instead of having the need to convert Rohirrim or use metal versions.
