Hmmm... i dont actually have this book so i dont know if it is good or not.. but i think the most natural try would be the FOTR journeybook (or the rulebook if you get that somewhere) however i havent gotten any of these so dont just trust me... ask other users first http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat1290176&prodId=prod1140179 |

Books: How to Build Realistic Model Railroad Scenery 3rd addition by Dave Frary. This is a terrain book not a track wiring guide. It covers materials, building, molds, paint. casting coloring plaster, and most methods. It covers how to use scenic materials. It also has a section for making your own scenic material and how to go about painting teddy bear fur to make long grass. It is a must have book. |

Just to update the thread... I have drafted my ruin but im not going to start it for a while. I've started a small diorama (10cmx10cm) for the Radagast figure I got recently and I'm going to enter it in to the forum competition if it comes out ok. This is my first every diorama/scenary building project so I wanted to start off a little smaller so that I'm a bit more experianced when it comes to making something I actually want to use. |
