I am looking forward to see how it turns out.
Nice fast work :yay:

I noticed on several post to day the small brown leaves. I thought they were hand made until I saw them here. The cat tails seem nice as well.Where do they come from?

Thanks

Perhaps you could have put on the leaf litter during or after the resin set, so that it would look like some of the leaves are floating on the water, rather than sinking under it.

Thanks mate,
The leaf litter is from Antenociti's Workshop, link is on the home page.
The Cattails I made myself though I saw the technique on another site which escapes me at the moment. I used some dried out branches, but anything could work like the bristles of a straw broom, dip the end in PVA and roll it in cinnamon, push the tip down to get it to look right, simple. Then I just put it in a grass tuft and added some extra long strands to it.

@ Blue Dragon: That was my plan but it really isn't deep enough to do though on my actual piece I'll definitely be doing that.

Cheers,
Pinky

Thanks mate,
As I said it's only a test piece so it's a bit messy. I just wanted to make sure all the components would work in the resin and to see how hard it is to work with. Pretty happy so far. The good thing about this resin is that you can sand and polish it once it has set so that should make it easy to fix up any mistakes.
