Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone had the old Rohan Buildings templates PDF from GW? I was looking through some old WDs when I got the bright idea to make some buildings for gaming. Of course, the link is so old theres no way I can access it now, so I was wondering whether any of the old crones might still have it

I usually save everything I download from GW's very volatile site, but unfortunately this was an exception. If you don't get the template from anyone else, the plans can still be found in "How to make wargames terrain" book (at least first ed. (2003) if there is a newer one). -- Pasi |

Old crones? Impudent child! Rohan buildings are very simple, so it should not be that hard to come up with your own template - there are plenty of images on framecaplib and on one-ring.net that will be useful. |

You could also try to find it here: http://www.archive.org... Just type www.games-workshop.com in the WayBackMachine and you'll get a list of website updates... it's real handy to find old articles that aren't on the GW website, but keep in mind there are no updates from after 2008. I'd help you find the article if only my laptop didn't keep bugging on the site

I just had to try archive.org out of curiosity... accessing UK or US content is a pain in the donkey, so try the Spanish site just like we had to do in the old days. The plans for the Rohan house can be found at http://web.archive.org/web/20070421094601/www.games-workshop.es/lotr/pdf/plantillas_rohan.pdf I didn't think I'd ever have to read the Spanish GW site anymore but looks like even in 2001-2008 the UK and US "web designers" managed to create a site that couldn't even be archived properly! -- Pasi // Somehow not very surprised... |

Ah excellent! Thanks Pasi, Julian, and lordstijn! Now I have templates to both the watchtower and the rohan building 
I didn't actually think of looking up the GW sites for the PDF files - I thought that they would've been erased when they made the website change. Happy coincidence that they didn't
