Has anyone had experience with the Flames of War paints - how good are they?
And they look quite similar to the Vallejo Model Colour paints, but they're not the same are they?

Has anyone had experience with the Flames of War paints - how good are they? And they look quite similar to the Vallejo Model Colour paints, but they're not the same are they? Thanks!

I think the FoW paint sets are from Vallejo, just that it doesn't say so on the bottles. |

They are actually made by Vallejo and are packaged up with the Flames of War logo on them. They are put together into sets of 6 bottles to suit different forces - British 8th Army, US Infantry, German SS etc. But the colours are just taken from the Model Color range from Vallejo. I have a few from the range and they are excellent paints - everything you'd expect from Vallejo (but remember to shake them vigorously). |
