Hey everyone, long time browser of the One-Ring here. Decided I'd finally put up my own WIP log to sit among and be dwarfed by all the fantastic ones already here. Started the hobby back when the movies came out and I was a young lad. Got back into LotR stuff recently, and greatly enjoying it. Starting things off with Thorin's Company. Almost done with these models, only four more left until the company is complete.

Finished Thorin yesterday. Quite pleased with the face, though the rest of him leaves something to be desired.  Only Dwalin left until the company is complete! |

Great job! Especially like how you have put them all together on one display - but somehow I never thought of Bilbo being in front of a battle

Excellent work Talionis ! I really like the base and think it helps frame the models perfectly. Could you share a bit on your making of the base ? What is the base material, wood or polysterene ? Maybe you could do a short step-by-step ? thanks and great work ! |

Thanks guys @ja33, The base is made from wood, and as I'll be making a similar base shortly, I'll be sure to upload the process. The base will be for these guys. Currently working through them. Have a test model done. May strengthen the highlights on the final models, but as these are rank-and-file he's pretty the standard they'll all be at.
