Ok so i thought i'd make one of these, im not a great painter but i think i have a loose grasp on modelling, here is my first project: Arathorn!



Anyone got any tips on how to improve next time i try my hand at something like this?

Anyway as for my other stuff im doing right now, i have got my fellowship to finish, all ive got left to is the hobbits and aragorn, then after that i have to work on more rangers and some goblin archers. After that i need to start two battle companies for hunting fro trolls, im not sure which one to do yet, im thinking misty mountains and dwarves/arnor....

But a very good alternative - if ur not good at sculpting. Specially with the hood covering up the rest of the face.

Keep it up - looking forward for some more sculpting.

Thank you very much, well he is "finished" now, im glad you all noticed what a brilliant cheater i am :L While painting him i noticed what was wrong with the coat..... it doesn't come infront of his arms... so it's more like a sleeved cape. Well he is an "old" character, the middle earth fashions change, so guess sleevecape ain't a big problem

Lastly, he looks a bit like davey jones from potc, what with the green tentacley beard....
