AD's Mini's and other stuff WIP

Hey everyone, im starting this thread to keep an active interest in lotr and because i have been inspired by other peoples work.
I have a huge backlog of minis from the BIGME packs and im in my gondor phase at the moment. ( Yeah i go through phases of minis some last for days some last for weeks :-D

)
Any who best show something i have done.

My gondor armys theme will be around gandalf the grey and his personal force.

Gandalf looks pretty cool. Are you able to get closer with that ol camera? Would love to see more of your models.

Great that you've started up a topic

As edge said could we get a closer up shot? And also look for a little flower icon on your camera, it's called macro and switch it on because it helps bring out the detail a lot more.

Yeah um I kinda took it with me iPod but I'll see if I can borrow mums camera. I'll remember about macro too. Unfortunately I'm going away for Easter this weekend so won't post again til about sunday

That's a lot better

I really like the eyes you've done, I have never had the courage to do that. Is he supposed to be G the White? I would also suggest picking out the belt.
If you want to try highlighting take dark colours because I find them easier to work with.

Thanks Cyndra. Gandys the only fig i have put eyes on sucessfully. They are hard.
I will get onto the belt and co soon as well. Hes not meant to be gandalf the white and to show this
i painted the staff brown. I got the colour from WD 360. Its a VERY pale/light blue.
Anyway got some more goodies for all. Some more figs:

Hope you like them. Also what colour should i put on the bases???
I have sand on them but dunno what type of base. :roll:
