Some of the nicest Mirkwood Rangers I've seen. Super smooth colours. Love the look of the beige/brown guys. Works very well. ![]() |

Your painting skills are impressive, the models seem about to move by themselves....both the combination of the colors, the shadoes and the details are literally wonderful, you left me speechless |

Lovely work, as always. I've saved your Fell Beast membrane recipe to use on my own, when I finally get around to painting them. |

Hello everyone. I meant to paint this model for last month's painting competition until I realised today's date. Most of my painting of late has been in a business manner; very methodical and efficient. I had some spare time this evening and thought I would take a much looser approach and paint for enjoyments sake. ![]() |

Here are 30 dol amroth men at arms I painted for a commission. The shiny armour proved to be quite the challenge and I had to teach my self how to blend to get a result I was happy with. Of course now I'm wondering why I never tried blending before. |

Nice work mate. I'm surprised you've never tried blending, infact shocked ! There are a few techniques to try, Painting Buddhas loaded brush is a novel one. I'm going on a course this year with Meg Maples we're she uses a 2 brush technique. That's laying a base colour, quick brush switch to apply the high then let the colours blend as they dry. Then of course wet blending can be a simple way. |

That's amazing, how did you make the armour so shiny? |
