Here we are. Day four. Back to things early tonight!

I painted the clasps on his overcoat Boltgun Metal, and am going to leave it at that.

Image

Horn got a coat of Elf Flesh/Skull White (a bone color). And got dry brushed with Chaos Black. I wanted the decoration to stand out more and I actually wanted the "specks" that come with dry brushing. This is a horn after all, not a polished statue.

Image

Shield! Edges painted Chainmail, highlighted Mithril Silver. Center, Boltgun Metal and a Mithril Silver highlight. Bronze part was painted over with Dark Flesh/Mithril Silver. A color too pink/yellow for my liking so I gave it a black glaze which also blacklined the edge of the shield. Overall a good move in my opinion

Image

Now to the sword. Whole sword got hit with Boltgun Metal. Highlights with Chainmail. The blade received Mithril Silver highlights.

Let's start on one of the defining aspects of the miniature. The face. The face and hair were based with Dark Flesh and washed with Chaos Black. I'm going to try to get blonde/red hair through the skin tones and Red Gore. Face Dwarf Flesh-> Elf Flesh-> Chaos Black wash. Hair...so many things I can't remember, sorry guys.

GOOD PICTURES

Just some major touchups to the base and I think I'm finished. He isn't that great but for my skill level at this point I'm proud of him! Can't wait to kill some pesky, Goblin scum with him!

If anyone wants to mention something before I give him a matte finish go ahead! I won't be spraying him till tomorrow evening.

Can't wait to hear feedback,
Drake

wow. I must've focused the camera wrong, they still came out blurry. Ill add more when his base is fully finished. For his base, keep it or add a little grass?

Yes I'd add some grass to it, Citadel Dead Grass if you have any (the blonde stuff as Dave suggested). Looks great draked, a job well done.

Sorry for the delay,

I didn't have blonde grass so I used some underbrush and Elf Flesh paint to make blonde bunches of grass. I like the effect.
I painted the "mount" part of the base Dark Flesh and I am finished!
