thanks matey sticks are the key: match sticks, lollipop sticks, cocktail sticks and kebab sticks. The problem is I am running out of the later . this may delay things a bit |

I like the tower. Have you tied to use the wider sticks that the doctor uses I think they are called tongue depressors sometimes. They are wider than Popsicle sticks. I use them for garden gates, grave stones and doors. They might make good vault shields. |

SidTheSloth wrote: thanks guys! @gothmog the werewolf: are you sure? its pretty strong already as i used a hot glue gun and some pretty sturdy balsa wood... did you mean the horizontal corners or the verticle ones? All the corners should be supported with triangles, something I leraned many years ago, well before I got into LotR. The Tower is certainly coming on very well, good work I'm also liking you're Vault Wardens, I'm a fan of making metal/FC models out of plastic ones, and yours are looking promising, what are their spears made out of? Also, how do you plan to do the shield ones, by the way? |

All you need is some sticks and some glue, i dint even have to plan it (which is probaly why its so wonky ) Quote: Shielmaiden: Amazing work on the Dwarf Sculpting - wish I was as good with green stuff! today i got some clay shapers through the mail so i decided to test them out by making a cloak for boromir: its IMO a bit of an odd sculpt so i found getting the movement right quite hard, please speak your opinion and say if you like it or not. also, here's a dwarfy beard that i did up in ginger: in other news: i have added a few more walls to the tower. C&C very welcome |
