I was hoping you would pick up on that. I think I'm going to have a go at batch painting those 48 plastic haradrim whilst I am away, washing paint on is so quick it makes highlighting seem ridiculous! Here are the Scouts, all squeeky clean washed in Devlan Mud. I've painted the top of the base and applied the skin tones which are a combination of browns and greys with a little red for good measure. Only need one wash, the bases completing and the teeth detailed until I can add these to the 'finished' pile

Cool Helms Deep! 
Nice work so far on the miniatures as well, though I'm not overly keen on the mixed skin tones of the Uruk-hai, though as there's still a wash to add they might turn out better then... Keep the updates coming!

Can't say I'm a fan of the mixed skin tones at all. Personally, that's something I'd save for Orcs, and keep a more unified look to the Uruks. That said, I think my personal fave is the archer in the second row, far left. Although, maybe go for a slightly darker look. |

Yes, I'm also of the opinion that the mixed skin tones doesn't really work all that well on Uruks, however the rest of the painting is great, Jack. I really like the armor, very nicely painted. And, that Helm's Deep looks amazing, Jack! I'm really excited to see how great this project will look going forward. Any progress on the Galdhrim? |

The Helm's Depp looks cool! Great job I think the Scouts need some lighter highlights on the Leather.

I like the mixed skin tones but if they were all a bit more similar to each other, that would be good. The red/pink is too light. if they were more like the dark brown and grey, maybe dark red too. I like it!

Hey long time since I updated this last. I've been skulking at Uni for about a month now and starting to find time inbetween lectures and sleep to bring out the paint and pots and create fire (or painted minis). Sticking to the Helms Deep theme, I've been working on a pair of berserkers. Only the white hands to paint on which I'm saving until my hands become more adjusted to holding a brush rather than a controller hmm

Oooh, I never noticed your Helms Deep here! NICE!! Any further progress done on it by any chance??? Nice Uruk-scouts aswell! Looking forward to further progress of the Rohan and Lamedon figs!! Keep em coming mate!

Great work, Jack!
I love your Berserkers, they are just great models. The armor looks good on the Rohan Commanders as well. As far as the Clansmen go, do you not like GW's scheme for them? You could paint them using a red and green color scheme, that could look good, and would tie in nicely with your Rohan army, if you wish to use these guys as allies. Keep us updated.

The Berserkers are looking super; the skin in particular. 
And I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing what you do with the Clansmen and Rohan Command, they're great models.
