you can make an elf hero with the batle company system wich looks like this: F-S-D-A-W-C---M-W-F 7-4-6-3-3-6------3-3-3 Deadly Strength. Stronger than his peers, this Hero is able to use a two-handed weapon without the –1 penalty to his dice score. Furious Charge. The Hero throws himself into combat with a savage war cry. When the Hero charges into combat, he receives +1 Attack. This bonus counts only if the Hero is fighting on foot. Heroic Presence. Wherever the fighting is hardest, this Hero is always found, fighting with an unmatched fury. The Hero may fight a heroic combat in the Fight phase without expending Might to do so. Rally to Me. Strong and clear, the voice of this Hero inspires his Warriors to stand firm. This Hero's Stand Fast! range is doubled. Terror. An Elven lord in all his glory is a terrifying foe for the forces of Evil. This Hero causes Terror as described in the main rules manual. Any Elven Hero can select this special rule, instead of rolling for a new special rule on one of the existing tables. Courageous. There is little in the world that can shake the resolve of this Hero. This Hero can re-roll any failed Courage tests. equpment: elven blade hv. armour point cost: 175 this maby doesn't seems so strong but: when he charges he has 4 attacks with fight 7 so he has a good chance of wining. when he wins he has 4 str. 4 hits and gets +1 to wound. if he kills al his enemy's he atomaticly does a heroric combat, so he can fight again with 4 str 4 attacks with +1. because he causes terror it's unlikly that he'll get attacked because of to courageous he will only fail 1 out of 133 times. and sins he has 12" of stand fast the chance your moddels wil brake are slimm. my question, is he overpowerd? is he legal? |

the question you have to ask is: is he better than boromir of the white tower... |

Seems Ilegal BUT in battel companies it is very hard to get such a result Plus don´t forget the injuries... Like the Leg wound Arm wound aso. |

For all that stuff A little to expensive After all Aragorn costs that much without nearly any of all those special rules The rules bout no penalty for two handed weps are a little out of place. I like them but I would call them something else like "overpowering speed" IT just does not sound elfy same with the furious charge. I mean he is better that aragorn, boromir, gilgalad, and elrond I think that you should upgrade the points cost Look at somthing round Aragorn+anduril Sorry if i was a little bit brousque I know i cant spell |

All about battle companies: http://uk.games-workshop.com/thelordoft ... mpanies/1/ You could make a strong elfen hero after many fights. But will he be worth it. You better upgrade a second hero for that victory points. |

Way too many special rules for this guy. Pick two or three at most and drop the rest. I'd suggest keeping the "Rally to Me" and "Terror" ones, and maybe the "Heroic Presence" |

I think you missed that this profile was created with the BC rules, not something he just whipped up. |

I think it was just whipped up, to show what is possible, as the OP says Quote: you can make an elf hero with the batle company system wich looks like this:
As has been noted, it would require a lot of specific rolls, and a lot of battles, without suffering an injuries. |

Ah, right. You'd need either loaded dice or ridiculous luck though. It's like saying that a lone WoMT CAN kill the Balrog. Sure, it's possible but the odds of rolling that well and your opponent rolling that poorly are just ridiculously unfavourable. What about the points cost though? Do the BC rules give that or is it something the OP made up? |

Ah, ok. Going over it again it seems that it's fine if every special rule is counted as adding 5-10 points to the total cost of the Hero. I was originally going for 50 for the free Heroic Combat, since the original Fellowship rulebook had Elendil without Narsil, but could take the sword for an extra 50pts. |
