If two opposing formations both have the Terror special rule, is the Terror cancelled out, or do tests still ahve to be taken?

For example, does the Witch-King (Fell Beast) have to take a terror test before charging a formation of High Elves and vice versa?

Also, if you attach an epic hero with Terror to a formation, does the entire formation count as having Terror or just the command company...? or none?

EG. Adding a Wraith to a formation of Orcs...

Because the Orcs don't gain Spirit Walk or Spirit Grasp do they..?

If you cause Terror, you still have to pass a Courage test to charge an opponent that also causes Terror.

But the second question regarding an epic hero that causes terror still stands.

this is the only exeption to the general rule that special rules do not transfer to the formation, so yes, the entire formation gets terror.

I know this has been talked about a bazzzillion times but we play it a bit different if you charge a formation and don't come into contact with the terror causing hero, I.E. into the back of double stacked companies or in the flank and don't contact the terror causing dude then you don't test. No where does it say that the entire formation gains terror.

Yeah cool. Thats how I played my last game. It does make more sense.

Do you think this issue will be clarified when the FAQ finaly comes out?

That is true Corsair but the hero dosen't lose his terror causing ability so in my humble opinion if you contact him or his company which you will be fighting I think you should definatly have to take a terror check!!
