Glorious! You could pass that off as a 75/90mm mini quite easily, the detail is so good and the painting so superb.
Now, get back to that diorama or we buy DurinsBane a one-way ticket to your house!

Quick updates here, two in the same day! I couldn't keep myself from finishing the entire thing and spent the afternoon on the scenic base (also, treaths of home-visits was motivating), so here's the final result.

Thanks alot for the previous comments guys!

Ok so this one is not even a miniature (I'm pushing the non-lotr forums to it's limit).

Anyway, when doing stuff like this, I find that many great ideas come from random directions, so I was thinking, do you have any idea what to do with this? It's gonna be a man leaning on his palm, obviously, but what else can I do with the painting to give it a twist? Help me with some creativity OR community!

Oh and I'm already going a little crazy esthetically with the red colouring, so no more colours =)

Frame it and sell it? Do portraits for a living and use the profits to fund a lifestyle worthy of an international man of mystery.

Hey thanks :) Certainly, here's an update. The miniature-painting is on hold at the moment, but I will pick it up pretty intensively this summer, as I'm planning on doing comission work (will be warhammer mostly tho).

That is an incredible painting - you really should consider doing this on at least a part-time professional basis.
