I will package securely, and make sure we can trace along the way. Been on the forum for a while, so thought I would try this to expand my collection.

Thank you,
Rangefinder (Lee)

Easterlings are off the sprue, assembled, and are bare plastic.

Updated "Haves and Wants".

Successful trade with lordoftheBrownRing.

New trade in motion with judgedoug.

army-of-the-dom trade has frizzled out.
The lesson is learned, ...trades to the UK are expensive.
$25 to ship USPS, the dinky box.
And another $50 USD to the receiver once it arrives!

I am sorry Dom. If you pick up the box, it's all yours.
No obligation to return it, reimburse me, or fulfill our exchange.

You may not be using the cheaper shipping options. I've sent a few packages overseas to the UK recently for about $8-10 USD. Also when they ask the value of the item you're shipping put the value of the materials not what GW charges

I hear you JamesR. I am just not going to ship overseas now.
Really was the really really small box. Filled out the customs papers perfectly.
(I know I did, because the gal here who does them every day, did mine.)

That must have been a high priced package to warrant 50 bucks of custom charges in the UK. The trick to sending stuff from US to UK is always tick the gift box on the customs label and mark the value as 18 dollars max, regardless of the contents as that is the threshold for triggering additional fees.

That is a great tip!
I did put gift, but the value I put $200, I think.
So there you go. Glad to help the next guy!

Hey, just thought I might add, our trade wasn't "unsuccessful" before anyone gets any ideas against you mate. There was a small error in which he put the customs price to high and I was subsequently charged 31.66 that I couldn't, nor could he, pay. The models should end up being returned to you by the way, if you look on parcel force site I'm sure you could see for yourself and maybe, just maybe, when the models are returned we could still complete this trade and when you despatch models to eu again keep to customs price below £20 :)
